Bob Eisele, Technical Support Specialist (Consultant)
With the exception of a couple of years in the aerospace industry starting out from college, Bob has spent his entire career in the medical device development field. He has worked in a broad range of positions from line engineer to director of engineering and CTO for start-up firms. Bob has worked in roles such as designer, manufacturing engineer, development engineer, researcher and consultant.
Bob has spent the last 7 working as a consulting engineer primarily in the diagnostics and medical device industry helping to develop the disposables for start-up and early manufacturing companies. He has worked on projects such as Lyme disease detection, STD detection, unique LFA disposable devices, cancer detection devices, etc.
He has built and successfully led many development teams to support the design, prototyping, fabrication, manufacturing and release of many products. These include tracheostomy tubes, intercranial pressure catheters, heart valves, cardiovascular stents, blood oxygenators, diagnostic pregnancy testing, dry powder inhalers for drug delivery and others.
Bobs has been working for Arete Biosciences for just short of 2 years as a development engineer and handles a variety of roles such as design engineer, test engineer, fabrication engineer, model maker, machinist and liaison engineer.
