Maryam Pourtaghi, Ph.D. Research Scientist
Maryam joined Arete in 2022 after she finished her PhD in nanoengineering with a focus on nano-engineered materials with antimicrobial properties. Coming from a background of applying engineering ideas towards manipulating and controlling biological systems, she plays as a bridge between the assay and engineering teams in Arete, developing and integrating the assays into IVD devices. With creativity being the inspiration of her activities, off work, you will find her either creating art crafts with a variety of themes or finding a new way to enjoy a jog.
